When I first did it WBAC were offering £35800, now they are offering £36600.

Was really happy with the initial £38500 being offered by Tesla and now it’s down to £37300
Given the ease of the transaction with Tesla, as reported on this forum by everyone who has done it, I would grab it with both hands. Forget the first price ... they just realised they went a bit high. Otherwise you've got to coordinate the timing with the arrival of the car and take a chance on what prices will be like at some date in the future.

This is also solid advice, I have heard lovely things about the ease of trading in with them.

Power of Attorney. Has anyone had the experience of having a friend/ family member pick up your Tesla for you with a PoA in the UK? Mine should be happening in Southampton I think. Thank you.
Yes, I picked up my dad‘s new m3 last September for him as he’d broken his leg. They needed to know beforehand, and needed my licence and insurance details ahead of time too. Once all that was sorted, no problems at all on the day.

Interesting; when I called them for a quote they said a separate tracker was required. When I have an actual delivery date I'll give them another go quoting your experience and see what they say. We have another car insured with LV so adding the MY as a multicar policy is way easy for us.

They definitely accepted the M3 tracker for my policy. Pretty sure I asked them to note it on the policy doc as well. Renewed it since (also now as part of a LV multicar policy and the question never came up. Perhaps the policy has changed? I’m due to renew again later this month so I’ll make sure to ask again.

Any benefits worth noting for multi car? I’m about to very a quote for the imminent MY to go with the MS.

Is the discount any good?

I can’t recall the exact difference but it was definitely better value than separate policies, either via LV or via different insurers. I checked that when I first took it out and the following year.

I‘ll be coming off the multicar policy on renewal as we’ve swapped out one of the cars for a campervan and LV‘s policy isn’t ideal for those. So I’ve take out a separate policy for the van with a specialist insurer so will be seeking a car insurance policy specific to the current Model 3, soon to be swapped for a Model Y.

Same car as me, also with Lex. All I can get out of them is TBC, same with Tesla. When I called Tesla they said hang tight as they would be allocating cars from first week of May. We‘ll see what happens…

I called tesla yesterday, they didn't really give me much of an update other than I should receive in June/July - Likely June and they would text circa 3Weeks beforehand as currently no car has been matched.
