Outstanding! But you and I both know you don’t need a truck to tow a 1000lb trailer that grosses at 3500lbs. A Model Y would sensibly tow a 2000 lb yard of dirt in this trailer. I can’t help your lawn art situation though.
01 and an 05. I have no idea what the ratings were, I'd load it up till the springs were almost at the bump stops, and did the same with the trailer.
The 2001 AWD RAV4 only has a 1047 lb. total payload capacity. You have to subtract the driver's weight, any passengers and the fuel. It's not really the right tool for the job unless you're just getting a few armloads of firewood. I hope the Tesla pick-up is under $100K.
Except the Model Y doesn't exist... but it's like the Model 3 right? What does the manual say? Towing a Trailer Warning: Do not use Model 3 for towing purposes. Model 3 does not currently support towing. Towing can cause damage and increase the risk of a collision. Caution: Using Model 3 for towing before Tesla-approved towing components and accessories are available may void the warranty.
Of course you've never gone one mph above a posted speed limit, right? Don't hurt yourself getting down from that soap box.
