New to this group and owner of a model 3. Looking seriously at getting the Y but I can't seem to understand why the big price gap between the USA and Canada. When you factor the exchange rate the price is still 6K more. There is no import fees as the car is manufactured in the usa. I had BMW and Audi's before and I've never seen such a big price gap. Am I missing something Yesla is trying milk the canadians a little more.

What do you mean? Looking at the Tesla Canada site;
LR AWD: $72,390 CAD which is $51,620.49 USD compared to $52,990 list
Performance: $84,390 CAD which is $60,177.56 USD compared to $60,990 list.
It's technically cheaper by a little for you than it is for US. You might have "potential savings" tab which takes up about 5k rather than purchase price.

You are correct. My bad. I was looking at the US price with the savings.

Just place my order.In past I had bought 4 cars from US to save some dough. Tesla is only car company which even lowers the price here when Cad. $ go stronger. That was one of the deciding factor for my purchase.
Current price gap between $usd and $cad with exchange for model Y is $4,000 on dual motor version. I’ve ordered a model Y and can’t get anyone from Tesla to explain why the price difference is so significant. Any idea how we get the price to reflect a more appropriate exchange rate?
