Wifey got her Model Y VIN, anyone else? No contact from Delivery Specialist yet ...
Congrats! Did they send you a text/email or did you check in the account somewhere?
Any way to give us an idea of how many they've produced via the VIN?
is your VIN number 000000001 by any chance?
If the last 6 of the VIN are sequential, it's just over the 400th Model Y produced: 5YJYGDEF0LF0004XX
Cool, just saw a MSM performance drive by in San Jose this morning...looked good!
What's an MSM?
grey - midnight silver metallic
Same here, found it in the web source
Getting the first 500 cars off the line sounds scary though
I bet that first couple hundred were test/pre-production (or are those not assigned vins)?
Either way confirms my theory that east cost is literally getting the first ones off the line since they have to travel first...cali will probably get later vins.
When 3s were being produced it didn't seem like the VIN correlated with chronological order off the line.
What is the "web source"?
Searching for Vin through Source Code
Got mine too. The purchase agreement is available on my account page with it enclosed. #433
What config and location??? Did you just check your account and it showed up???
Performance gray ... Alabama ... the VIN is in source and the Purchase Agreement.
Whats your odometer in your purchase agreement...I just saw mine and it shows 50 miles...thats pretty high for new car no?
EDIT: nvm i guess that the standard value they put in for everyone
I would think the first 500-1000 off the line get a more thorough inspection than later cars... The powertrain and battery pack seem to be identical to the 3 though, so probably no issues there.
