Same here, found it in the web source 5YJYGDEF7LF0004xx Getting the first 500 cars off the line sounds scary though I bet that first couple hundred were test/pre-production (or are those not assigned vins)? Either way confirms my theory that east cost is literally getting the first ones off the line since they have to travel first...cali will probably get later vins.
When 3s were being produced it didn't seem like the VIN correlated with chronological order off the line.
Whats your odometer in your purchase agreement...I just saw mine and it shows 50 miles...thats pretty high for new car no? EDIT: nvm i guess that the standard value they put in for everyone
I would think the first 500-1000 off the line get a more thorough inspection than later cars... The powertrain and battery pack seem to be identical to the 3 though, so probably no issues there.
