I think you're right, but fortunately I've seen a couple Ys with Gemini wheels, sans aero covers. I'm waiting for a red stealth performance, FSD. I might get the wheels dipped to same color as the black trim, for handles, etc.

Where did you see Ys with Gemini wheels? On a truck or the Fremont parking lot?

About the wheel dip, yeah! I was thinking the exact same thing. Thinking a flat or semi-gloss might look really nice. Tell me if you do that, I'd love to see pics!

Maybe it is a cost saving measure. Still high enough that it isn't likely to be exceeded by the time the delivery happens but less than the 50 therefore reducing the warranty period slightly.

Warranty is based on mileage and date at time of delivery. You get the full mileage warranty regardless of what Tesla does on an untitled car.

I found out from the delivery support specialist assigned to my order. He called me about my trade in and apologized for drafting the full amount of the Y from my bank account. I just figured they were going to credit me back once the trade-in actually occurred. Anyway, he stated that my car is en route for delivery and the pick-up date looks to be on the 24th. Nothing on my account page states the 24th as my delivery date; however, the main title notification on my page has changed. I guess I’ll know for sure when the delivery location calls me. I’m also glad I answered that inbound call from Vegas

Personally I would not give any money till I inspect the vehicle first. Unfortunately with some states (I believe Texas is one of them) you do not have that luxury and need to pay first.

North Jersey/NYC area

I never received an email/txt/phone call to update my info. I just checked the website pretty much everyday. Still waiting for delivery date and phone call from Delivery Advisor.

Now that I look at it again, that's not a commercial car carrier, I don't think! Sorry.

It'll be awhile before any significant mods (console wrap, yes: plastidip wheels, no). My wife has already been very kind about this indulgence!

No Date YET - BUT Tesla gentleman mentioned he did not recall my name from the lists so far*, but advised me to call in 2 weeks/end of March, and he would find my delivery info from my RN.

Though I still don't know WHEN, at least know when I will know .... and it's only 2 weeks!!

* Remember how tiny DE is. Only 4 on the Spreadsheet. Supposedly ~3-4K total in state but I've seen only 2. Only 786K licensed drivers.

Several thousand Teslas TOTAL in DE. I've seen one on the road other than a friend's. IIRC, only 4 on the Spreadsheet of ~1400? Certainly less than 1%. The "showroom" and SC are relatively new.
