I bet that first couple hundred were test/pre-production (or are those not assigned vins)?

Either way confirms my theory that east cost is literally getting the first ones off the line since they have to travel first...cali will probably get later vins.

Look at your Purchase Agreement (MVPA) bottom right or view source and search for "5YJ".

Very odd, the 3 weighs around 4000 pounds, hard to believe that the Y weighs 5000.

Edit: looks like GVWR can also include the passengers and cargo, so the model Y can definitely get above 5000 pounds.

Yes "gross" includes all and also includes the weight of the vehicle itself. Almost not playing fair when it comes to electric vs ICE. Additional would be a better comparison. GVWR - weight of vehicle.

This is good and bad news. Good news - deliveries are right away the corner. Bad news - usually the first few batches have their own issues until they improve and fix going forward
