I just got thru looking at a model 3 Performance in Loveland Co that just came in from Fremont, It had the front laminated, but I didn't see the back windows laminated. The specialist said it had the new battery and I saw the windshield wipers that had warmers. When Tesla says back window, do they mean the passenger windows or the back window of the car that goes right before the trunk? Or was that always laminated?
So are there any changes in the new Q2, post April 1st 2022, Model 3 LR/P in the US? Been hearing about them having the new battery, and laminated real glass. Is that correct?
not sure when they started doing this, but the 2022 from Fremont, had the new infotainment computer It also had the Superhorn. Have to admit that took some getting used to, but the possibilities
Probably just to create common hardware between models. Reading that thread it looks the same as the new systems going into the S/X. However a good point made is this could also be for a rear screen for the robotaxis in future.

I really wish Tesla would just make a heads up display. Mercedes has a quite nice one, and so does Ionic 5. To me it would be a brilliant way to keep the clean lines of the model 3 and Y.

3rd party heads up display are one of those things which dont sell as well as they require owners to disassemble parts of their 60k car. Most people prefer not to do that.
Plus after seeing the Mercedes augmented reality display, I just cant imagine using any other type of heads up display.

I can imagine. Getting something really discrete seems to be the main challenge. I know a garage that would do the work. They specialise in customising Teslas.
