The only mod so far for my P3 are in-your-face bordello red leather seats (uphostered, not covers). I thought that the fairly understated available exterior colors (mine is blue) need some contrast and if I go with dead cow skin, might as well go for the bloody murder scene look.
Also matches the red calipers.

If Tesla cannot fix the dancing cars in V10, I’ll install one of these on the rearview mirror:

Thanks! Here's a general breakdown for the cost of all the mods that I posted in this thread:
How much have you spent on mods?
  • PPF Full Front + Ceramic Pro: $2,000
  • Ceramic Tint: $600
  • Exterior Mods: $1200 (Tesla Performance Letters, Door vinyl wraps, paint red calipers, powder coated satin grey wheels, TSportline lowering springs + alignment)
  • Interior Mods: $200 (White performance dash, All Weather Mats, Performance pedals, Ultra bright LED lights + Tesla "T" on driver/passenger door)

Let me think.

First-week Ceramic OptiCoat Pro and Glassparancy
Second-week Joined beta for an E-Ink plate
Third-week from China red ventilated seat pad for summer
Fourth-week Seat belt extension as the seat is too deep
Fifth-week Magnetic iPhone mount on goose-neck mounted on back of display
Then I got my red stickers and mounted on film to prevent them damaging paint
Added wireless charging for iPhone and used battery charger as a splitter for power
Purchased Tesla winter mats to protect stock mats for summer use
Red Car Style Tire Rim Protector Tire Hub Tape Bumper
Wireless USB stick for DashCam/Sentry mode
Installed sunglasses organizer in the bin in front of wireless phone charger
One year ago Added custom vinyl stickers emulating a '57 'vette, only way to be unique
For it's first anniversary I had protective film installed and the OptiCoat Pro re-upped
Most recently I got shades for the roof glass, including silver reflective for summer

Looks great! I am in Dallas also, would love to know where you had the red leather seats done.

Taking delivery tomorrow of a white Sr+ M3. We already purchased all weather floor mats from ev tuning, a SSD for sentry mode, the nema 14-50 adapter and the electrician is coming Monday to put in the socket. On my to get list are a roof shade for the kids (not until spring), seat protectors for the car seats and possibly the wireless charging hub by Jeda.

Our kids are 3 and 1, we don't really have the money to buy the winter tire set right this second but might in the future if the stock set proves the need.

What's something you can't live without for your M3?

You may want to consider a center console wrap. If they are still the black piano finish, they tend to be fingerprint magnets..... The other fairly inexpensive upgrade was changing out the stock LED trunk lights with brighter ones.....

Congrats on your delivery tomorrow !!!

Congratulations! Buffalo is a tough place without proper winter tires and hauling around precious cargo. I’d consider those first.

I attended a pop up event up here where a M3 owner was kind enough to spend quite a bit of time going over the car with us. His review of the car in the winter was favorable/comparable to what we experience in our volt with all seasons. Honestly the majority of the time the kids will be driven around in our SUV, but winter tires are definitely in the back of my mind. If we just bought rubber and had them mounted on the stock wheels, any recommendations?

I put the Michelin IceX tires on mine and I've been happy so far. Our neighborhood iced up a bit not long after I had them put on so I decided to take a turn a bit fast to see what happened and they held well. It felt like the car wanted to fishtail, but the tires (and car) kept it in control and I stayed in my lane rather than sliding wide. I was pleased. But we haven't had much snow yet to test in. Just flurries.

I considered the roof shade too, but decided to wait and see what happened over the summer (got my car at the end of June) and I never found that I felt like I needed it. I did get a shade for the front windshield for when my car was parked in the sun and that has been helpful when I remember to put it up. I definitely notice more heat when I forget. Who knows, maybe if I used the roof shade it would reduce the temp even more in the summer, but I really like the view out my roof. It's one of the things that made me want the car. I love when I get to sit in the back and I can tilt my head back and just watch the sky. The roof shade would ruin that for me.

I'm starting to consider the wraps for the lower part of the inside of the doors. All 4 of my doors are getting so dirty from people pushing them open with their feet.

The piano finish on the console does get very fingerprinty! I started looking at a wrap for that too, but haven't bought it yet.

All the LED lights are pretty dim, but the ones that bug me most are the ones in the console. I can't see where the USB ports are unless I use a flashlight. If I replaced any of the LED lights, it would be that one for sure!

RPM TESLA

Has all the accessories you can imagine. Best after market site i’ve ordered from. While on the pricier side, I can’t recommend the plastic covers for the center consoles enough. They are solid, and incredibly easy to install. Way better than dealing with a vinyl wrap. They look like an actual finished console instead of a wrap.

Other than that, I upgraded my ambient lights and trunk lights. The lights on the model 3 were just too dim for me. I like a pop at night. Especially the flood lights for the doors.

Congrats, and hello from the other side of Lake Erie!

I urge you to go for the winter tires if you don't have an alternate car for heavy snow. You're in Buffalo, which makes my Detroit winters look like a cake walk. The cheapest way would be to put a winter set on your OEM wheels, and worry about picking up another set of wheels for the stock tires in the spring, or even remounting them. You'll get the expense back in the long run from spreading the tire wear between two sets of tires, and the wheels can be sold in the future for a reasonable sum.
