I know this is a very stupid question but how unsafe is pushing up a second row seat just a little into unlatched warning territory? I’ve only done it with no passengers and making room for hauling. I assume latched means it’s hooked to the chassis where past it is just being held by strength of its motor or something? It feels strong unlatched but I haven’t forced it. It’s such a bummer because great third row leg room is actually possible with still ample second row room, but it’s a couple inches past current latch point. Too bad they can’t figure out some kind of offset. Anyways, I’m spoiled with the six seater so no complaints, just sayin...
I've done this before and had the warning indicator constantly on the MCU. It is unsafe and I wouldn't do it again if I didn't have to. You're correct about the space though (I have a 7-seater).
Such a bummer. Would be awesome to somehow create an offset bracket where the seat mounts to the post...
