My guess is they would be open only for deliveries. I took delivery on good Friday (March 25th 2016) and they only opened the store for deliveries. Since June is another end of quarter they probably have a lot of deliveries to do. I think they had 12-15 the day I took delivery.

I hope this is the case.

I am supposed to take delivery the week of the 20th and can't be there on the 23rd. If they are closed the 24th, then it may mean another week delay.

I will have to call in until I am able to talk to someone.

I can see OT or off hours for deliveries. I incorrectly assumed SC meant the service center side of the business.

I'm guessing June 24th will be your delivery date, I only heard back from my delivery specialist about a week prior to taking delivery. Then it was rush to get all the pre-paperwork done (trade in, plates, etc).

Congrats on your new Tesla!

I thought about taking delivery at my home, but then you don't get the walk through or the delivery experience. I believe they simply drop off your vehicle. Am I wrong?
My 70D was delivered (9 pm arrival via Tesla trailer) to my house 1 year ago. They also offered to pay train fare for 2. Driver parked car in garage since it was raining and then spent 45 minutes on "training", phone sync, etc.. For me service was as good, or better than Montreal delivery.
I have heard that if there are multiple drops in Ottawa that they truck them to Brookstreet. Not sure for that whether they have DS on hand at delivery for walk through.

Interesting. It would be nice not to have to drive to Montreal. I guess I'll wait and see how convenient of a time the vehicle arrives and if they call me on a Monday and I simply can't wait til the weekend, I'll maybe ask about home delivery :)

When you say they offered to pay train fare, do you mean they offered to give you 1 way tickets for two from Ottawa to Montreal?

Yes. Either home delivery or 2 one-way tickets + cab to Tesla SC.
There was reference to fact that Ottawa didn't have a SC so this was the service they provided.
Of course that was then, don't know what policy is now :)
