More than cosmetic damage?

Unfortunately, my wife backed over a curb and cracked the rocker panel trim. Do y’all think this is purely cosmetic or should I schedule service?

You never know until you get into it. Either way I’m sure you would want it fixed, within reason.

That said I’ve seen similar many times over the years. Should be 100% like most others have already chimed in on.

The particular example above looks and likely was purely cosmetic.

Good to fix anyway given how much dirt, dust, sand, etc loves to build up within the rocker covers.

If however your recent example has any dents, bumps, and/or even seemingly cosmetic damage to the actual rocker and/or closer to the battery housing, then best to have it checked and likely repaired.
