I think I have a few more decades before this is relevant.

I have clicked on a few car commercials, since I find it amusing to have Hyundai or GM paying for the TMC forum ;)

I dunno... You only have to be 50. Since the first digit of my decimal age is more than a 2 bit binary number can handle, I got a pretty good discount on my Roadster insurance, but they forced me to join AARP.

Did this link to teslamotors.com? Is this the first real 'advertising' we have seen Tesla do?

    That can't be Tesla - it's advertising the Roadster: "0-60 In 3.7 Seconds". It's probably a scam.

    Amusing Advertising (on this site)

Three amusing local ads are appearing for me on this site. 1) Toyota dealer, 2) Nissan dealer, and 3) Mapco, a local oil distributor offering $0.03/gallon discount and a free coffee program for buying gasoline with their free membership card:

And this is why so many of us donate to TMC - it helps to cover costs of maintaining the site AND it gets rid of all those stupid ads.

(It's the 'Support TMC' link on the menu.)
