Mounting my charging cable holder on to my solar panel inverter housing. Can anything go wrong?

So I have to park my Model 3 outdoors for the next few months, and I have a Tesla Wall Connector that is installed on the interior of the garage. I'm currently running the cable under the garage door to charge my M3 each night. I was getting tired of having to open/close the garage each time, so I was thinking of installing one of those wall mounted charger holders on the exterior of my house, but I didn't want to drill into the stucco. I saw that my solar panel inverter box was nice and flat, and was thinking of 3M taping it to the side as shown in the pictures. I just don't know if there is any harm that can come from this idea?

3M taping it to the side won't hurt it. Personally, I would just drape the charge cable over the power meter.

I agree with the big guy, drape it over the meter. That stucco is a real knucklebuster and will scrape up the cable too.
Double-stick a little lump of something to the top front edge of the meter if the cable tends to slip off.
