At our last meeting our condo board all agreed that we should put in electric car charging circuits for the four units. We are leaving the choice of EVSE up to the individual unit owners, so the board is just going to put in the wiring. There is a convenient steel post adjacent to each parking space, and I'm wondering if there are any good solutions already out there for mounting any EVSE (Tesla or non) to a steel post?
Otherwise I'd been thinking of putting long bolts through the mounting holes in the EVSE housing and running them to a metal bar. Tightening the bolts would cause the bar to squeeze the post tighter.
