MPP coilover installation cost

What’s the typical cost of an MPP coilover install for an M3P in the Seattle/PNW area, including alignment? I have obtained a quote of about $1100 from a couple of reputable shops, but that’s nearly 2x of what I would expect given the 3.5 hrs of labor estimated by MPP themselves.

3.5h is just the approximate time to bolt the parts up. It doesn't take into account to adjust them, align and test drive. Its a lengthy process.

Yeah, I have seen those $400 installs..... Usually the attention to detail is not so great lol

I got mine installed at mShop in Kirkland, WA. Li and Pete run a great shop for tires, suspension, brakes and alignments. Mine turned out to be great, and I'm really enjoying the MPP coilovers. My M3P is soo planted and smooth, definitely a noticeable upgrade from the stock performance suspension, which I thought was already pretty good.

I had mine installed last year at Hankook Tires (The Drift Depot) in Lynnwood. I don't remember the exact cost, but it was less than $1,000.

Quick 2024 update. Just reached out to Andrewtech Automotive in Gaithersburg, MD (was referred to them by one of the founders of Unplugged Performance) and they quoted $1257 total for labor including alignment (excluding the suspensions themselves.) They charge $165/hr which I feel is standard/a little high for the DMV area but they're reputable so I'm willing to fork the cash out.
