MR3 price increase and AWD price decrease by $1000

First Tesla is trying to upsell 3SR buyers into a 3MR, and only a few days later they raise 3MR prices and lower 3AWD prices to try and squeeze another 7 grand out of them.

Tesla is saying to 3MR buyers - "You're SO CLOSE to getting a 3 with LR and AWD, c'mon, just another seven thousand dollars, and you got this!!!"

The struggle is real man!

$7,000 for 310 miles of range and a 4.5 0-60...

Brought to you by the same bean counters who realized people could be made to pay for an exit row, or an extra bag.

It may take longer than that. They still have to start filling demand from the rest of the world.

He’s got an unhealthy obsession of wanting a Model 3 at Camry prices. Those who know what they are doing immediately saw the MR as the lowest absolute cost Model 3 to hop in with full credit. Always going to be the bridesmaid and not the bride he wants to be.

Not going to happen. Tesla has huge pent up demand so they can produce 1.5 months worth of demand each quarter at the start to ship overseas and count in the numbers.

This cuts pressure in the US by half. This is going to go on for years at present levels.

Yes. So long as there are people willing to pay full boat there's no incentive to cut prices. This is what will hold back introducing the SR model, too.
