Have I missed the news or has the base prices of the MS dropped in the last month? I through prices went up after the refresh, but it appears the MS 70 without options has gone from A$111,400 a few weeks ago to now A$109,100. Weren't they going up?

I think you might be onto something. Looks like the base 90D has gone from $139,000 to $135,700. Mine hasn't even arrived and it's going down

Hmmm... I guess it is safe to assume that those who ordered prior to this price drop will still have to pay the higher price. Sucks.
I'm assuming so... Hurts a little and also means the car is devalued further as you drive it off the lot. Swings and roundabouts... it could have gone the other way.

With the Australian dollar already being lower this last period than the one before I believe the price will go up a little again.
The Australia dollar looking like it may settle in to the high 60's by later this year I would be fairly confident that any loss you'd seen off the lot, so to speak, will be a gain for you later in the year.
When I bought the base price was a little over $102k'ish from memory....

That would be nice but I'm doubtful as I have already been given a final invoice. But I hope I get a new final invoice.

You need to politely contact Tesla yourself and maybe remind them a little bit too. Looks like I'm getting a downwards adjustment even after the final invoice. I ended up speaking to Taylor in the Sydney office.That would be nice but I'm doubtful as I have already been given a final invoice. But I hope I get a new final invoice.

The car is priced the day you take delivery. My guess is they will adjust your " final invoice". Keep us informed.

Tesla is dealing with these pricing issues as customers "reach out", so my suggestion would be to "reach out".
Really? So we place a non refundable deposit on an agreed sale price, but that can go up by thousands at any time at Tesla's discretion?
Not entirely. When I took delivery of mine the price was 20k higher than when I placed my order. I paid the exact same price as the original order.
I just had a look at the terms and it is the price invoiced when you confirm your order, but managed to have my order adjusted, just before I go into production too. I think they'll be accomodating, especially if is a currency adjustment, Tesla USA will get a similar amount for the car at the their end so won't bother them too much to pass it on. Was very impressed with the service in chasing it up for me TBO.

I've never heard of that happening, certainly didn't for mine. Price was fixed at contract time.
