Interesting. Not that anyone cares, but I don't need the cup holders in my S - not back or front. Six+ years of owning an S, no body including myself has any beverage in my S.

the most expensive part is the actual cup holder.
ASY, SECOND ROW CUP HOLDER 1086670-00-B retail price i don't now. i bought used on ebay for $75
ASY VENT BEZL CUP HOLDR GRAPHITE 1064501-01-B $33
ASY, CONSOLE BACK PANEL, CUP HOLDER 1064504-00-A $10
CUP HOLDER DOOR 1086690-00-B $17

You do need to make some modification to the actual cup holder assembly. I will post a DIY when i'm 100% done. No need to remove all the trim like i did.

Great thanks. I'm 100% in on this mod, especially if we can get the USB ports functioning to charge some iPads!!!!

Any male to female usb splitter should work. the back of the trim can easily fit.

I have the cup holder but the black plastic cover came off and was lost. Which part # was that in your post?

Word of caution as well mine sticks on the way out and I fear the drive mechanism isn't reliable long term.

That’s impressive; I’ve banned food but cannot skip by road beverages

Ohh, don't be impressed. Its really quite easy for me. No kids, no dogs or cats, and no wife. Not even one of my own.
