I'm going to leans towards No. I think it would be cutting it close and would personally err on the side of caution.
That being said, with the matte PPF, I'm never taking it to or through a carwash anyway.

Installed my OEM mudflaps this afternoon. Just did a 20 mile round trip on wet highway roads, and neighborhood streets that had some small amounts of mud and rocks from debris runoff from the recent rain in the mountains. I’m happy with the results. The side of the Y is still clean and the flaps seem to be doing their job. Definitely recommend.

These did the job well, I like them. Didn't see any major efficiently impacts (unlike ski racks which make the range 370+ Wh/mi instead of my average 280-290)
They definitely do the job of deflecting front tire spray, they were flexible enough that they bent when I parked over built up snow and ice.
I did hear them scrape today for the first time going up a steep switchback hill.

Just got mine installed. The install is extremely simple with just a flat head screw driver. Literally 2 minutes on each side max. Also, I don’t think it will impact efficiency much because it still doesn’t actually stick past the edge of the tire so it’s not really in the wind.

I went ahead and ordered these ($44 shipped) as a stop-gap until the Tesla OEM mud flaps are restocked, as I am expecting delivery of my Model Y in the next 2-3 weeks. I'd like to install them right at delivery to minimize rock chip damage to the rear quarters (I also ordered the Tesla rear door PPF).
Do you have the stock 20" tires on those inductions? MSM and inductions is what I would want to get and was wondering how the tires handled winter weather driving.
yeah I was missing one of the original ones that I hadnt noticed until I went to install these.

Yes, these are stock 20" inductions.
- I have Vredestein Quatrac Pros on order (still on back order, they are snow rated all weather tires that fit the 20" and apparently a bit softer ride) based on multiple good feedback reviews. I live in an area it doesn't make sense to have winter tires given weather and temperatures.. but make it up to the snow a lot.
- I expect that combo to be really good.
Depending on your comfort level of snow driving.. if you set chill mode / off road in slower slippery areas.. it's ok. Not as bad as some would make it sound here on TMC. I do have a tolerance for a little slipping when on icy turns / hills.
I got to use slip start on an icy driveway, it worked really well.
I'm still positive on the 20" and once I get to try the Quatrac Pros, will give an update.
Mine arrived yesterday and super easy to install. It prob took less than 5 mins and they fit really well.
Received yesterday. Installed in 5 min or less. No missing pins. I’d post pictures, but it seems my MY is dirtier than everyone else’s here. Pretty embarrassing. Hopefully the flaps will help in that regard.
