And here's my latest (really) low tech advice....I put a trowel in the car and if I've driven somewhere and gotten a bunch of snow packed behind either the front or rear tires, I just use the trowel to knock it off a bit so it can't freeze and then bust stuff off.... In Montana we're off to a very snowy winter and it's worked so far...
