Rather than start new threads for each of their seemingly vaporware vehicles, let's just discuss here.

Home - Mullen Technologies- Dragonfly k50 - EV Vehicle Manufacture currently lists the (Qiantu) Dragonfly K50 and a relatively new appearance, the MX 05.

Previously, they "had" stuff like Mullen 700e (CODA reborn) which has vanished. And, we had an ongoing thread for Coda Automotive (formerly Miles Automotive Group).

I wonder if the K50 and MX 05 will ever ship in the US... or if they will quietly vanish and be replaced by another "vehicles"?

For the longest time, Mullen kept putting out some comical press releases. See Mullen 700e (CODA reborn) and beyond. They even talked their stillborn vehicle as "the REALTesla killer". LOL!

I found Mullen Technologies, S3R3 Solutions extend letter of intent for West Plains electric car manufacturing facility from July 2020 and Electric Sports Car Manufacturing Coming to Washington State Via Proposed Merger Between Net Element Inc. (NASDAQ: NETE) and Mullen Technologies - NetworkNewsWire from Aug 2020.
“We believe the timing of this merger is ideal for Mullen Technologies,” Mullen CEO David Michery said in recent statements (Mullen Technologies' plans for electric sports car manufacturing facility on the West Plains could accelerate under proposed merger). “It comes on the preparation of our launch of the Dragonfly K50, which will be available in (the second quarter) of 2021 through our retail network in California and Arizona, and the development of a new EV model, the MX-05 Sport Utility Vehicle.”

I noticed some changes to Home - Mullen Technologies Inc. and Mullen MX-05 Press Release - Mullen Technologies Inc..

BREA, CA—October 1, 2020—Mullen Technologies Inc. (“Mullen Technologies” or the “Company”), a Southern California based licensed electric vehicle manufacturer with international distribution that operates in various verticals of businesses focusing in the automotive industry; Mullen Automotive, Mullen Energy, Mullen Auto Sales, Mullen Funding Corp., and Carhub, today announces the Company has begun to accept deposits on the MX-05 All-Electric SUV.

Mullen announced earlier this month that development of their pre-production facility in Monrovia, CA will begin today, October 1. This facility will be fully operation in mid 2021 and begin the pre-production process of the MX-05 in the 3rd quarter 2021. First deliveries to the public should be in the 2nd quarter 2022.

The five passenger MX-05 All-Electric SUV boasts a 325 mile range with a 0 to 60 mph time of 3.2 seconds. Mullen will unveil the prototype and model in the coming weeks. Mullen will accept up to 100,000 refundable deposits of only $100 each for the MX-05. In order to reserve the MX-05, simply make the deposit and review the terms and conditions at
Mullen MX-05 Reservation - Mullen Technologies Inc.
Somehow I don't think they'll hit those dates or that the vehicle will ship in any significant quantities, if it ever does.

I wonder if anything will come out of these:

Looks like they spent some $ redoing Mullen Technologies completely.

Their front page doesn't mention the Qiantu K50 any longer nor does it mention the MX-05. But apparently, the MX-05 has been renamed. Per Reserve Now - Mullen Technologies Inc..
Ottava 2p⁶ SUV crossover (formerly MX-05) will be available at a starting price of $55,000. Final pricing will be confirmed upon vehicle order. Initial reservations are limited to 100,000 units only so reserve your Ottava 2p⁶ Electric-SUV Crossover today and imagine what’s possible.

When will I receive my Mullen FIVE?

Our production validation is currently scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2023. Once the FIVE goes into full-scale production, you will be contacted by a Mullen representative with a more definite delivery date, currently estimated to be in the second quarter of 2024.
Will it actually ship to real customers by that date?

What happened to 2nd quarter of 2022 for the MX-05? Mullen Technologies is Now Accepting Pre-Orders for its MX-05 Pure Electric All-Wheel Drive SUV is still up with that date.

How about the K50? That was supposed to happen 2Q 2021. NETE: Net Element Announces LOI for Reverse Merger With Mullen Technologies, Maker of EVs is still up with that date.

Seems like they're busy adding to their web site. Mullen Automotive Issues Letter to Shareholders claims

  • High-performance versions of the Mullen FIVE are due to arrive in late summer 2022. National test drive event for Mullen “Front Row” reservation holders to be announced on future date.

Seems like they missed their earlier date already for "High-performance versions of the Mullen FIVE are due to arrive in late summer 2022."

BREA, Calif., August 22, 2022– via InvestorWire – Mullen Automotive, Inc. (NASDAQ: MULN) (“Mullen” or the “Company”), an emerging electric vehicle (“EV”) manufacturer, announces today that the first fully functional demonstrator vehicles of the Mullen FIVE EV Crossover will begin arriving this October.
Mullen and hofer powertrain have been jointly developing the upcoming fully functional, demonstrator FIVE EV Crossover vehicles. These vehicles will be utilized in Mullen’s upcoming 2022 “Strikingly Different” Test Drive Tour as well as other events planned across the U.S. in 2023.
...
The future Mullen FIVE RS High-Performance version will feature 0-60 mph in 1.95 seconds and a top speed of over 200 mph. The FIVE RS will be ready for consumers to experience in person in the spring of 2023.
Mullen Automotive is committed to making the upcoming test-drive tour a highly customer-focused event; “Front Row” FIVE reservation holders will have the first chance to experience the Mullen FIVE in person. Additionally, the tour will also provide the company with a platform for first-hand feedback opportunities. During the tour, Mullen will interview consumers to gain insights into customer needs and focus on continuous improvements, creating a vehicle that customers truly love.
"We are thrilled to launch the first fully functional, demonstrator FIVE EV Crossover vehicles this October,” said David Michery, CEO and chairman of Mullen Automotive. “Mullen and hofer have been working diligently to have these vehicles ready in time for Mullen’s ‘Strikingly Different’ U.S. tour. Congratulations to both the hofer and Mullen teams on being able to make this monumental effort a reality.”
Mullen will offer “Front Row” FIVE reservation holders the first chance to test drive and experience the Mullen FIVE in person on the “Strikingly Different” U.S. test drive tour. Mullen asks interested individuals who have not already done so to book their FIVE reservations here in order to secure a spot on the upcoming national tour. Further details and upcoming progress will be shared on Mullen’s social media platforms and with individuals who opt to stay connected here.

Now, the I-Go is not actually a Mullen product, but is licensed from another manufacturer that has not been disclosed by the US company. However, a quick search online reveals that the manufacturer is China's Henan Henrey Shiying Vehicle. The vehicle is listed on a wholesale Chinese website for $9,385 per vehicle or $9,080 per vehicle for orders of 50 or more. Mullen will sell it in Europe for a base price of $11,999 plus VAT and local transportation.
I wonder how many of these they'll actually sell.

Here we go again... Will they meet these dates and have the Five on sale in 2024?
"Production validation of the Five starts in the fourth quarter of 2023. It will be on sale in 2024. A high-performance RS version will also go on sale with a 2-second sprint, carbon ceramic brakes and a top speed of more than 200 mph, says Michery."

They're in the press again.

How about the K50? That was supposed to happen 2Q 2021. NETE: Net Element Announces LOI for Reverse Merger With Mullen Technologies, Maker of EVs is still up with that date.

The Hindenburg report quotes Michery as saying in March of this year, “We’re going to be delivering our class 1 [van] vehicle in the second quarter of this year…[We] plan on doing that shortly and we plan on announcing that it is a very large company that is going to buy a lot of these vehicles…We’re doing it here in America. We’re doing it in Tunica, Mississippi.”
...
Makayla Brown, executive assistant to Mullen’s CEO, said in a telephone interview with USN&WR that the date for the delivery of the vans will be made at a later date. She confirmed the fourth quarter of 2024 for the release of the FIVE, and said the price is likely to be $55,000. Asked about the Hindenburg report, she said, “No response. You have to love freedom of speech in America.”
So... still no vans (see post 12). Now, the FIVE is scheduled to come out Q4 2024? Previously (when it was known as the MX-05): "First deliveries to the public should be in the 2nd quarter 2022."

Sounds like snake oil... Maybe a speed and power limiter?

I found these press releases.

I had one of the principals of this venture try to pitch a battery tech start up to our group at former company. This was about 2017-18. It was an obsolete chemistry surpassed by lithium in the mid 90's.

100% BS, and not even very good.

Intrigued by the Spokane attempt, I dug into their background. They are trying to leverage a semi high end used So Cal Used car dealership chain to make them not look so much like a brand new (in 2019) smoke and mirrors fraud.

These guys are 100% fraud. Run away!

I have a Google alert set up for coda automotive and I received a pointer to Mullen Automotive Inc (NASDAQ: MULN) Setting Up for a Big Week After Reversal Northbound Friday (Production Timelines, Earnings & Bollinger) - Newsy Trends. The below sounds like more BS:

"Mullen’s solid-state cell battery technology could revolutionize the EV market. Mullen recently blew away the EV market when they reported that data collected from its solid-state cell testing shows impressive results, including a range of 600-plus miles on a full charge and over 300 miles of range delivered in 18 minutes with DC fast charging. Mullen is also conducting extensive research and development into other advanced battery technologies, including lithium-sulfur and lithium-iron-phosphate. Giving Mullen such a big advantage in EV battery technology is its acquisitions of Coda Automotive and Electric last mile Solutions. Coda invested millions in battery management systems, drivetrains, and other technology that makes EVs move effectively giving Mullen a significant advantage over everyone else’s. "

"The wild saga of a convicted fraudster, a scandal-ridden EV company, and the promise of a perfect battery
In April, Mullen Automotive and Lawrence Hardge announced a joint venture to install his battery technology in its EVs. Investors are skeptical—even if meme-stock diehards aren’t."
