The MP seats are not like cloth seats I've had in previous cars. They don't seem to be nearly as absorbent as cloth. If you spill something on them, wipe it up and they'll be fine.
(I never wanted leather seats - colder in winter, sticky in summer, as well as cost more.)

Re. alcantara - I also never understood that option. It's a fuzzy dashboard. I just don't get it.

How are they for stains? That's my biggest fear with cloth seats...

Yeah I feel they would be a pain to clean stains.

BUT...if you have a no food or drink rule for the car, so that shouldn't be an issue

I have some scotchgard stain resistant spray I plan on using on the cloth areas. That should help protect it some more.
