Living in Silicon Valley, I see a lot of Model S driving around. Outside of Tesla events, a supercharger station, a Tesla service center, a Tesla design center, the Tesla factory or headquarters, what is the maximum number you have seen in one day? I'm up to four not including my own on a 25 mile trip.
Six this morning. 2 in my neighbourhood, one on the freeway, 3 at the farmers market. 10 mile trip, didn't watch on the way back. MS are popping up like spring flowers around here ( south bay ).
I live in San Carlos (Tesla's previous headquarters) and work just an exit away from Tesla's current headquarters. My neighbor has a P85 and there are two other owners at work. I don't think I can even keep track of the number of Model S's I see in any given day because I'm always in and around Palo Alto and Sand Hill Road. They are everywhere...
I think I've hit six or seven in a day before if I can count the ones at work. I saw three this morning heading to brunch.
In a bit over 9k miles of driving all around central NC, seen a grand total of 1 in the wild. Met several reservation holders, but seeing the actual car around here is still rare!
Nine yesterday, not including my own. Two white ones in Marin and seven charging in the OAK parking lot.
I saw 3 in a row on the road near Google headquarters in Mountain View the other day. A sig, a white and green one.
I have seen a total of two ever in the wild. Of course I live in Minnesota, and there are probably less than 10 Teslas in the whole state. On a 5 day trip to LA 3 weeks ago I saw about 20!
I saw 3 at once in the parking lot of the local Torrey Hills strip mall. That was this Friday after work. Pretty cool!
Today I saw a handful of Grey, Black, Silver, White, Signature Red, and a couple of green, brown, and dark blue Model S's. This was the parking lot at the NorthWest Tesla Owners Meetup from today! Good turn out!!!!
Wow! Count me in someday when the CHAdeMO adapters are in Short drive for an S:tongue: I've seen 3 when I was in the bay area
My max in the Bay Area about 3 weeks ago was 11! It's funny how my eyes zero in on Teslas amidst all that traffic. The unmistakable cat-eye DRLs help a lot too. I see 4 other Ss at work every day.
Wouldn't it just be easier to count the number of days you have gone without seeing another Tesla? I just got back in town yesterday, and the answer is already zero. I passed a red Sig heading south on the Pacheco Pass yesterday while returning home, and saw a white one today on 101. I fully expect to see at least one Model S per day until the next time I leave town, so I'll probably be stuck at zero for a while...
I've seen as many as three in a day, which I'd say is pretty impressive given that I'm in DC rather than California.
As Brian0 noted, there was a good turnout today. My personal record is now 41 (42 Teslas with the Roadster), 40 (41 with Roadster) of which were captured here: Spring 2013 Get Together in the Bellevue-Seattle-Redmond-Issaquah-Kirkland Area - Page 4
....also in MN. I have seen zero. ever. Unless meeting other owners for dinner and parking lot hang-out time
