Lol... yes, if you have over $15,000 of tax liability is the short answer. There is no issue with claiming more than one car if you purchased them and have the tax liability to absorb them. :D

I know it's something of an assumption, and I know there are a number of reasons why it wouldn't be, but I'm willing to bet that someone buying two MXs in one year has $15,000 in tax liability.

Regardless, OP, you can claim as many EV credits as you can put qualifying vehicles into service. As the others bring up, though, the second will do you no good at all if you're tax liability (before any non-refundable credits) is not more than $7,500, and you won't get the full benefit if it's under $15,000.
