Probably due to volume is now is feasible for Tesla to take care of repairs like this themselves. Combine that with the Tesla insurance and we are in a new ball park. Another great reason for people to buy a Tesla.

Tesla insurance is available in how many states? And how many service centers do they plan on turning into body shops?
I’m sure it will be a smooth process in the handful of locations they can actually make this happen. But they will, again, face the challenge of scale which they have not been able to get right in any facet of their business.
