The hype is already concerning. Musk is a genius because releasing an electric pickup isn’t good enough. You have to reinvent the market to take away market share from these companies. Ford making an electric F-150 is nice but compared to whatever an engineering rocket scientist has coming it will seem irrelevant and be back page news, while regardless of early perception the Tesla truck will be all the talk.

When is the announcement supposed to be made? Any update besides "pushed to November"?

My guess: front windscreen will cover much of the front trunk that may be rather short and small. Similar to truck but going even lower. You will see out between your legs.

True for now. With a few more updates of autopilot, head on collisions will be a thing of the past. Everyone will ask what all those crumple zones are for :)

Rivian is promising this so thankfully Tesla will need to follow suit

Aliens was a great movie, but the biggest problem with this is ground clearance. I do love the overall design of it though ;)

And it's not very resistant to acidic secretions... They should also add auto closing ramps when the M577 leaves the plane CLOSE THE RAMP.

I like it! Haha I actually hope it’s big enough. It’s going to be sad if they try to release a small truck

For you. For me I'd absolutely LOVE a midsize Tacoma size truck. That being said however the full size truck market is a much larger segment and they'd be smart to release a full size truck as their first pickup.

After watching Bladerunner I’m now convinced the truck doors are coming with suicide doors. I believe Musk considers this truck a completely tricked out version and has no plans of it becoming a mass produced hit.

But with a $49k base I’m probably wrong haha it just seems like they have been trying to simplify production on their lines, and the Tesla truck has sounded anything but simple
