yea that is what I was thinking. Not a promise. More like wishful thinking. Is that really a promise? Or more of a "Yes, I agree that's a good idea" ? I feel like it's the latter.
You might extend it to be an abbreviation of:Is that really a promise? Or more of a "Yes, I agree that's a good idea" ? I feel like it's the latter.

Yhh @Bladerskb has already mentioned that multiple times with "Amon" explaining his approach.Pothole detection is nothing new in cars, I think the first German vehicles to take active measures upon seeing them came out ten years ago.

Good to know!
But has any company planned to incorporate that to ADAS or Autonomous technology sooner like by the year 2030 or 2040?
That can’t be easy. I’ve missed potholes myself driving at highway speeds in traffic, or had brief moments where I thought a patch job was a pothole since the darker color of the new paving material stands out. It would be a remarkably impressive achievement if anyone could get there even with lidar, let lone vision alone.
Be serious. Will only require HW4 with FSD+ package. That will be in 2022.1 firmware and HW5 cameras

This post is like reading Electrek....Elon tweets a one word answer and people turn it into "a thing"...
