Please don't overpromise and underdeliver. No potential pickup buyers read this and think "Model 3 El Camino"; they imagine a real pickup.
As always when EM talks about specs, it may be under 50k, but there will be a catch like it only goes 200 miles or it will only tow 1000lbs for that trim model.
It is very possible to produce a base version in this price range. Our F150 true base is single row seat, 8 foot box and no power equipment. Super basic actual work truck. That truck was under $25K. Don't need Porsche performance. Need to tow 15,000 lb and carry 2,000 lb. 200 mile range towing would be a good target. Elon... Please put the charge port in the front so we can pull straight in when towing at all chargers.
