My buddy had a couple issues he took his 3 in for and as it turned out they were linked. I think he said he had a front sensor and 12v battery message or alert of some sort.

When they checked behind the front sensor they saw the leads going to the front bumper 12v access port had come together somehow and shorted, causing wires to burn. You can see it in the photo. Open your port and check those 2 leads to make sure you cover them with tape.

I checked mine and saw that they were separated in a way that there was no way they could touch each other, but I taped them up anyway. Just doesn't seem right to have leads open like that.
