Problem is the MME crowd can't have it both ways. The past year posting "roof blow off" to further their confirmation bias when it was what, 1 MY?....then when MME literally has major issues on a small number of deliveries change that narrative that "we need more data, it might not be too bad, ford is working on it". Unfortunately they ban most folks as trolls if you try to bring non-fanboy perspective.

Bottom line is the MME is not ready, if anyone watched the Bojrn video (the whole 5 hours)....you will see many issues that have not surfaced yet (ui design, slow charging, heating issues, driving assist feature). At this stage folks can even use the car to see what is around the corner. Kind of a bummer for those folks.

At -8F it feels as an ice age here. Blaming any weather event on global warming is a true conspiracy. Speaking of climate change and saving the planet, I am with George Carlin - "the planet is fine, the people are f$cked". I am for EVs not because of some climate changes that seem to be unstoppable at this point no matter what people do, but simply because EVs are better.

You forgot that Henry Ford was an ideological inspiration for Adolf Hitler.

This is true - though sometimes the budget forces us from rib-eye to sirloin.

George Carlin was king. But the planet ain't fine - because people are becoming more and more f&cked.

Ford's been dead for 74 years... Hitler for 76 years... I'm missing something with the dead man / EV correlation.

That's fair about the hypocrisy, but that ain't me. Also, I'm not taking car advice from Bjork. What's she know about EVs?

If it is truly about saving the planet rather than simply about comfort of a few lucky individuals, then the best solution would be a total extermination of humanity.

Remind me not to spend Xmas at your house.

I guess the rest of us idiots will try and do our part, however "worthless" that may be.

But I am unaware of currently available consumer products that are proudly named after Fuehrer. Ford company name must be changed and the family must lose control of the company.

Is it a typo or Bjorn should be referred to as a she?
Bjorn may not know everything about EVs but he lives in Norway... that's enough expertise for me.

Chances of the company changing its name are about as great as your estimation that any of us can affect global warming.

We're very friendly but it's a worse place to live. We've got California's tax and energy policies (and now earthquakes) but without the good weather and beaches.

Really ? How did you guys end up with our tax and energy policies ?

I'm not stepping into political judgment - but I would have thought a traditionally fire-engine red state wouldn't be doing the CA thing.

Are there a decent number of Teslas on the road around there ?
