Or it might have been too high for Tesla to be comfortable selling a 75kwh battery car for the cost of a 60kwh one. Of course, then it wouldn't explain why the S 60 is still available, so who knows?

The x is a lot more complicated. The falcon doors the auto front doors, sensors etc. IMO is it a lot more expensive to manufacture the x than what tesla is selling it at if you compare it to the S. Moreover the model S production is optimized. I suspect the X production is yet to be optimized.

The P90D was never removed, you just had to choose 90D and then you could choos P90D.
