The X60 take rate was probably too low.
Either that or it's a website mistake and it'll be changed back when they realize it.
Or it might have been too high for Tesla to be comfortable selling a 75kwh battery car for the cost of a 60kwh one. Of course, then it wouldn't explain why the S 60 is still available, so who knows?
The x is a lot more complicated. The falcon doors the auto front doors, sensors etc. IMO is it a lot more expensive to manufacture the x than what tesla is selling it at if you compare it to the S. Moreover the model S production is optimized. I suspect the X production is yet to be optimized.
The P90D was never removed, you just had to choose 90D and then you could choos P90D.
How much was the discount of a x60D compared to the x75D?
60d was cheaper by $9k
Now it cost $9500 to go from 60 to 75D
