I have a new plaid mx, look at these photos, is this the way the drive indicators on the bottom of the tray, the other photo is what it shows when I touch the key pad?

Is this correct?

No it is not right. No part of the P R N D Should be visible when not active. There is misaligned diffuser or shroud under the cover.

Others have reported this. Whatever they use to cover the PRNDL indicator when it's inactive is wearing away/peeling off. Schedule service for this to have it corrected.

Mine was like that at delivery. We scheduled a service appointment to replace the panel and now it is dark when off as it should be.
