I'm guessing this isn't unique to my car, but thought I'd check. I did email Tesla service about this but haven't had a reply yet...
When not driving the car for a few days, I'm guessing it goes into a sleep mode. When I get into the car and press the break, I get that message where 'system is booting up' at the dashboard. The big screen is black, and continues to be black. It takes 30 seconds or more before I can put the car into drive, but the big screen is still black. At this point, while I can drive the car, turn signals don't work. I usually end up doing a force-boot, and wait another few minutes until the big screen boots up, and then everything works. It's about a 4 minute process start to finish just to drive the car safely...
I'm on 2018.36.2, and this only started happening recently. My car is parked on the third floor of the condo parking lot, so it has little or no LTE access.
