MX2022 blind spot avoidance

Folks,
I'm hearing similar concerns from few folks who have recently moved from German cars to Tesla, how do you avoid implicit blind spots while driving MX ? The mirrors doesn't have any sensor, is it expected to see the sensor map on the console before making a lane change always ? I'm not used to this driving and how much I bend and make sure there's no one coming in my left or right lane (to avoid someone speeding up in my next lane and the sensors haven't yet detected), I'm not fully confident to make the change as I do not have complete visibility. Similarly, someone walking across the street at cross walk.

The display in front of you shows the visualization of traffic in the lanes around you, including the blind spots. When you click a turn signal on, the fender camera from that side of the car will display on the center console, so you'll be able to see any cars that are in the blind spot.

Thanks all for your suggestions, seems like the center console camera display is ideal to get that confidence.
- The traffic visualization display doesn't solve the problem as it does not display the vehicle of someone trying to speed-up faster in my next lane (that I'm trying to switch), this exact scenario happened multiple times. It only displays the one within immediate surroundings.'
- Also I have seen the red color highlight if the turn signal is on + vehicles in my blind spot, however, same as above this does not address cases where some vehicle is way behind my vehicle and speeding up while am changing lanes. Often Tesla vehicles are the ones speed-up and slow down to faster (probably due to regenerative breaking)

they should update the software for when someone is in your blind spot that the center screen pulls up that camera and wraps in red to let you know someone is on the left/right regardless if you have the turn signal on. I had a q5 as a rental and it has huge yellow lights on the mirror to let you know there is a car next to you. Its refreshing to immediately know without having to look around that someone is next to you. tesla, i know you're reading this. chatgpt could code this for you in an hour with a programmer.

Please no. I don't want the screen popping with camera view every time someone passes me!

The current behavior is quite sufficient. If you want to turn, turn the turn signal on.
With the turn signal on, the camera should appear, and the red light turns on if someone is in conflict with you. (The older cars will get red bars on the camera view)

I don't need to know every time a car is passing me, only when I want to turn and only in the direction that I'm turning.

Just because other cars are too stupid and turn it on any time someone passes doesn't mean that is the correct way to do it.

In my experience this is inadequate due to accuracy. It’s right 90% of the time but a 10% of the time I double check and it’s wrong. That’s unusable

I was shocked how bad the tech for blind spot is. I had a 2013 Durango that is light years ahead in this regard.

It's a camera view, how can it be wrong? Are you saying your video lags and the view isn't current?

OMG, are you saying that between looking over your shoulder, checking the side mirrors, and checking the rear-view mirror checking the camera view and checking the light. you are still having issues?

"Are you saying that you can't see out the side and rearview mirrors?"
> I'm able to view but somehow even when I bend (in MX as I drive that) to get a view, its not clear when compared to my previous Merc car. Viewing the center console for a left turn is very unnatural and am still not used to this camera on center console, I still look at my shoulder, side/rear mirror for blindspot confirmation. At night the center console camera is very unusable due to the glare/clarity, I can not make it sometimes if there's any vehicle in blindspot.

My main complaint in this post is "avoid someone speeding up in my next lane and the sensors haven't yet detected" i.e., vehicle is approaching fast in the next lane (which am trying to change to), sensor map above steering doesn't yet recognize it as the vehicle is still far behind and even if look in side mirror, over the rear window I can not view (or do not have complete visibility), I did try with changing my seating position (forward/backward) and doesn't help to get the right visibility.
