I'm beyond excited to be the proud owner of a 2016 75D (haven't picked up the car yet)!! I've never wanted a very specific car that badly for so long - 5 years now waiting......
It's a bit crazy as I'm a die hard ICE car guy (I currently have a heavily modified V8 engined japanese sedan (1999 Lexus GS400) that I've had since it was almost brand new. Some pictures below.
I bought the 2016 75D last week from Tesla Canada directly, so it comes with a 4 year/80k km warranty starting now. It has only 26K km ( 16.25k miles) and all the options (other than the Upgraded stereo. I paid $73.6 CAD (USD $55.7K). Metallic silver on Black leather. See pictures below.
Huge thanks to NavSarin for giving me a heads up on this deal that appeared for just 1.5 hours on the Tesla site and then was gone. It got sold before I even saw it! Anyway, I called the regional sales rep and he also confirmed it was sold. Next morning I got a call from Sean Singh (the regional sales manager for Canada) and he said that the financing didn't go through for the buyer and I could buy it if I wanted. The rest is history.
