Hi bnsn,

I am also picking up in Denver and driving all the way back to NY. Maybe our delivery timelines will line up?

2014 Model S, AP1, Red, Grey Performance Interior, Piano Black Trim, Black Roof, High Fidelity Sound, Sat Radio, Dash Pad

$51k, according to ev-cpo this is the cheapest AP1 S85 CPO with the four year warranty.

Here is where I am:
6/28 9:29pm - EV-CPO Alert
6/28 10:00pm - Completed the deposit and received the automated Thank You e-mail
6/30 - Received an e-mail from Christian the New England adviser asking for me to call his cell phone
6/30 - After a few rounds of phone tag, I spoke to the adviser and let him know I did not want to have to pay the $2k transport fee to NY. He researched my car and it was in Tempe, AZ, no location was available on the CPO listing when I had bought it. I asked him to research other locations for delivery without a transport fee with my preference being Denver.
7/1 - Traded text messages, but delivery location still not confirmed
7/5 - Confirmed I can pick up in Denver. This is a great for me because I can get a direct flight and have friends to crash with.
7/6 - E-mail intro to delivery specialist. General 6-8 week time frame is provided, but they will know more after the 200-point inspection.

Deposit Placed on MS P85 on 6/6 during the infamous fire sale - Picked up yesterday, 7/8, so only took a day over 4 weeks even though DS originally told me will take 8 weeks.
Car was/is INCREDIBLE condition.
Like new.
Inspected the thing from top to bottom and couldn't find anything wrong!

I used a CU for the loan as I got 1.74%. Though I could have gotten the loan for the full amount, I opted to put 20% down as I don't like to carry debt/large monthly payments though it's necessary to get good credit. Dumped it into my acct, direct debit on pickup for final payment due which included the "cash out of pocket" difference.
Yup. I should also mention as chrgdtechick pointed out, by cash we mean something other than a bank xfer, like a cashier's check. Not actual greenbacks :)

Pano Roof Yes
Black Interior No
i have performance grey w/glossy wood. I was worried about the contrast but I am REALLy loving it! For a used car the interior looks brand new. I owe it to the old owner who obviously took great care of the vehicle.

Did they give you a list of what was replaced during the CPO recertification? Interior looks like new! Hope mines turn out like that too.
Yes that was provided to me but I asked for it from my CPO advisor as soon as he told me that service was done with the car (2 days before delivery) I had to ask multiple times but i did receive it the day before i accepted delivery. It showed the details of what was inspected and what was replaced and what passed inspection.

IMO The key to this whole process is persistence and continuing to ask questions and following up with CPO advisor and DS. I never felt bad asking twice or three times when I did not receive a response as 1) I know they are busy and 2) I was spending a lot of money so expected answers to my questions.

Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions on the process.

Amazing...congrats! Everyone with these dark grey turbines...think I might have to pick up a set.

Greenbacks are so passe just like filling up gas. After yesterday's fill-up, I'm thinking the ICE is just going to be a large mobile gas container for the lawn mower to syphon.

In this household we joke that when we have to get gas for the mower that if we even try to put it in the Tesla (not that we would for obvious reasons) that it would refuse to even drive on purpose :D insulting the T with making it carry gas

I was also told I could just write a personal check today by my DS; surprised by this but it is a nice touch.
I was going to as well, but couldn't find any checks. Doing it on MyTesla is the same anyway, comes out of the same account, with confirmation #'s to print which I prefer anyway.

If only they would allow credit card down payments... Those points.... But they are thinking "yes, but those fees we pay...." Oh well

That looks awesome. The trim matches the roof well. Mine has the white roof as well, and the black goes well with it. Btw those are good angles in the pics. Mine don't show as much.IMG_20170624_110001942-2137x1603.jpgIMG_20170624_110007895-2137x1603.jpgIMG_20170624_110054479-2137x1603.jpg

PSA for new and soon to be owners. These are some of the accessories I've gotten so far. But the top two in my opinion are "must haves" were tint (lowest legal tint) because of FL heat and it helps with range as you use less AC to stay cool, and dash cams (I got the Blackvue 650s and installed it myself to the extra 12v in the Bluetooth mic grille). I also got 3D Maxpider floor mats, rubber for back and carpet for front for kid protection and because the OEM mats for front are terrible. Fold up dangerously (under the pedals!). Posting pictures of these accessories as reference. I am also getting the wheel guards after a cub jumped out and scratched my rear passenger wheel  (I wasn't driving!). I can post a picture once I install them if anyone wants to see.

15% rear and 30% front, Ceramic Tint (does wonders for heat!) This picture also shows (or lack there of) the front and back dash cams

Dashcam set up. Can't see the rear at all from a normal angle, barely see the front one too at a normal angle. Wires completely hidden except right at plug in. Not wired directly to the car, but by an adapter, with an in line fuse added. Lots of forums and YouTube's showing this type of install. Aside the mic grille, I didn't take anything apart for a clean install.

Here are examples of front/rear views with the 15% tint at rear

And cord management for cheap. Wall hook and bike bottle holder

The bottle holder is BRILLIANT.

I will absolutely be using your method. Thank you SO much for sharing!

What screws did you use to mount that bottle cage?

I'm sure I sat it somewhere after all my research wording for my S! I like to share though in case someone else hasn't seen it. Wood screws since it was drilled to the stud and just caulked over the heads. Had to just slightly bend the holder wider for it to fit.
