MY key fob no longer on Tesla store site

I think I bought the last one. Soon as I ordered it wrn out of stock. Got delivered yesterday. I'm sure itll come back .probably supply chain issues.

I hope they restock it. I was literally about to buy one two days ago and saw it was taken down completely.
I totally agree but my wife has this nagging problem of never charging her phone lol.Key fobs are soooo 2019.

I like the key fob when I'm going to use the frunk/trunk. So easy to open , don't even need to take your hand out of your pocket or look at anything.

I don’t understand the hate for key fobs. Almost every single car in existence comes with one. I personally would only use the fob and not phone key, if I could get my hands on one for both my Teslas. Swapping between cars in the app has its fair share of bugs.

Let me rephrase, almost every single car in existence comes with a key fob. A key fob is way easier and more simple than an app. When most of the time I only open the app to unlock my car. Seems silly, when a fob can just be in my pocket and unlock when I open the car and the trunk. Phone key works when it wants to. Even with location always on and keeping the app open on my phone, phone key works about half the time. So regardless of owning multiple Teslas a key fob would be easier and preferred by me. If phone key works great for a lot of people then that’s good. I’ll just take a fob any day.
I don’t have any issues with the app. I had a fob on my old truck but I find the phone more convenient…you just walk up to the car and it unlocks….

Key fobs are expensive for Tesla $250, not sure why they cant include a key for instead of these stupid card like keys.
I'll come to the defense of the key fob. I like mine and never wave the card around or dink with my phone. Kudo's to Tesla for providing multiple choices to customers: card, fob, and phone.
People can decide which one they like. For always-on phone people, the phone works great. For slim-line cashless wallet folks, the card works great. And for folks like me, the fob is in my pocket and just does whatever it needs to do. I just walk up, open the door, hop in, and drive away.

Personally, I want a 4th option....my Apple Watch to be a true key (just like my iPhone — no phone connection or internet required).

I’ll second that. I use no physical keys for my cars, house or office. If the phone is dead you can just swipe the card and throw the phone on the charger while you drive. Seems workable.

Phone only works for me maybe 50%. I'd prefer a FOB, but the price is crazy.
(latest Apple OS, app always updated and open, bluetooth on).

Yes, always open. Only works consistently if it's actually active, or I toggle bluetooth minutes before approaching the car.
