MY LR New Features

Took delivery of MY LR today. Confirmed features:

• Heated Steering Wheel
• New Center Console

Could not confirm

• New Headlights? I guess not? (See pic)
• 82 kWH battery - How do I confirm?

The title of this thread is misleading. Heated steering wheel and new console are far from new. They've been in these cars for months.

Take a picture of your energy graph and change your displayed battery to percentage. Post a picture here that contains both.

You calculate by taking the recent Wh/mile (energy graph left side), multiplying by the projected range on (energy graph right side) and then dividing by your current battery percentage. Eg: (222 Wh/mile * 150 miles projected)/0.50% gives you 66.6kWh of 100% capacity.

Here's my calculations. Correct me if I'm wrong.

233Wh/mi * 185 Projected / 0.55% = 78.37kWh?

If the top part of the frunk is removed, (done by carefully pulling it up, no tools needed) there is a spot that states 75kwh printed (on earlier y’s and 3’s).

Would it now state 82kwh instead?

I don't think they have that info in that location any more.

I can confirm there's no sticker that mentions the kWh under that panel. I removed it today to add a prefilter on the air vent and while I had it opened I looked around for any markings. My VIN is 175xxx I just took delivery on Thursday

Tesla adviser told me model y headlights are supposed to be updated by end of June but to be honest he is not sure.

That's interesting - first I've heard of a SA even suggesting the MY LR will get the new lights. Anyone else heard this?

When did you order your car? I have a MY LR on order and I am curious if it'll be the new lights. I didn't ask my SA about it.

I haven’t ordered yet but probably will in the next month or so. My SA is still telling me there’s no plans to bring the global lights to the MY LR.
