My new (to me) MX is home!

She’s here! Inventory 2016 MX 75D(60) with just over 24k miles, FSD (AP3 coming, MCU1), and unlimited free supercharging.

Ordered 7/1 in Dallas and picked up in Renton, Wa today!

A couple “we owe” on it, front windshield has a small crack in the black band on the passenger side, one FOB isn’t working (even with new battery) and they took off the 60D badge but haven’t pushed the 75 upstate yet.

a great ride home, she’s peppy, fast, fun to drive and the AP2 is just amazing. This weekend we are going to break her in on a 2-3 day trip down the Oregon coast.

It used to cost $4500. They unlocked it due to wildfire in my area almost a year ago though, and have not re-locked it since..... Shhhhhh....

NICE!
Yhea, mine came advertised as a 75D, but the screen and rear badge said 60D.. That may be why it sat in inventory so long. Before I purchased it I got it, in writing, that they would push a 75 update to it when I took delivery.

Interesting: We bought our Inventory car from down south and were actively discouraged from flying down to pick it up. It's due to be delivered soon after weeks of delays. Will 100% be pursuing a refund for transport charges for subpar service.

No, we had to have it delivered too. I am up north and the X was in Dallas. I wanted to fly down and pick it up but they made that sound almost apolocyptic. If it was a neighboring state, they mentioned it's easy. It sat in Dallas for 11 days after I bought it with no movement (frustrating...). Once they threw it on a truck it was in Renton in 3 days and I begged them for a 24 hour delivery turnaround (usually they want 48).

I bought mine on 12/31/19. It was a hairy deal getting it to go through. Car was in Dallas. I am in Denver. I wanted my son to join me in driving it back from Dallas. I complicated things by trading in my '12 Mazda CX-9. That meant that I had to deliver the Mazda in Denver, close on the new car in Denver, get the plates in Denver, get on a plane, and take delivery in Dallas - all on the SAME DAY!!! I had everything ready, got to the Denver store early - they had no idea I was coming. They were waiting for some email from my lender saying that all was ready, but the real process was that the lender put me on a list that they sent to Tesla days earlier. So, I had to get the lender on the line on NEW YEARS EVE, and then hand my phone to the Tesla delivery rep, who then took it into their back office for a 1/2 HOUR, but when he came back out, he said it was all arranged. Still had plenty of time to get to the airport, meet my son in Dallas, Uber to the Dallas store, and take possession.

WHEW! Well, I thot it was far more fun to spend the $2000 xfer fee on a road trip, than pay it to Tesla. And it was! But that's a store for another day. :)
