I put it at 80% he will own one by the fall...
 
For the last couple of years I have been saying this.
When asked what I felt the biggest challenge EVs have, I've answered "getting people to test drive one".

Thank you for getting your buddy to test drive!
 
70D is no slouch.
Wonder if your buddy wants to order a 70D, go all in and get a P85D or even an 85D??????
The Ds I have driven are as if they are on rails.....

You did your bit and planted the seed, it will grow however it ultimately decides to grow.
I am curious to know which version he eventually decides to order.
 
Some EV advocacy groups have a mantra "butts in seats" as the best approach to getting people to be interested in EVs. "Butts in the P85D" shifts over to the "resistance is futile" category.
