My speed limits have gone

All the pre-loaded speed limits on my Model 3 have vanished. It'll still read them from road signs and gantries when it's in a good mood, but anything that was drawn from the maps is missing. Map version 2022.40.something. I wasn't offered it as an update (sneaky download in the background) and it's actually surprisingly annoying because it borks the adaptive cruise control too, because it'll frequently reset to a totally random speed.

Two-fingered salute had no effect.

Not sure how you can block it other than turning WiFi off.

That sounds interesting! I noticed that I got a Navigation update earlier this evening - but it was over wifi.

Have you tried changing the language and then putting it back again? IIRC that reloads the resources which might restore your limits. Might not, but only takes a couple of minutes to do.

Same here. Had a download yesterday morning but never an option to install it. This makes sense now but I have the same issue with multiple speed limits missing.

Just driven my M3 for the first time and as soon as I got close to a public road the speed limit appeared on my screen. So the local underlying data is there for me. Haven't been further than the local shop yet though.

59,40,50,60,(gantry with a speed camera) 30, 50,60,40,50 end of silly “smart killer” motorway, back to 70.

Noticed mine had vanished today also, working on some normal streets but motorways it's vanished completely, even entering roadworks down to 50mph it wasn't showing

Same here - no (map) speed limits showing. Limit only displayed if picked up by the cameras reading actual signs I think.

It didn’t help me. Still no speed
Limit on the M25. Most annoying having to scroll all the way up to 70 when merging onto the motorway with 30mph in traffic.

No speed limits here on several motorway sections either. It seems if it doesn't see a sign for a while it just blanks the speed limit and gives up.

I wonder if it’s down to EU 2022.40.14215.
i believe it’s recent

I’ve had missing speeds on the M23 on both 2022.36 and now 2022.40.

Yes it’s the 2022.40 map. The interesting thing is that the outward journey I made on Sunday night with the same map but on 2022.36 didn’t have this issue

I spotted this the other day, seemed no pattern to when it showed a limit or not.
