View attachment 269565 View attachment 269566 On March 30 i went to my local Tesla store, spent the night on the street all for the opportunity to realise a dream. On March 31, 2016 as the 8th person in line i was finally put my deposit on a model 3. Today the final piece of my model 3 preparation arrived. My wife gifted me a wall charger for Christmas, to complete my Tesla garage project.

Now, i continue to patiently wait for my turn to configure my model 3. Current estimate is late 2018.
Wish all fellow Model 3 owners and reservationists and Fantastic 2018.

It's really warm and sunny in California right now, don't you want to escape the Canadian cold and make my garage look like yours?

Great work and thanks for sharing! We will likely be relocating shortly after I take delivery of my 3 so she will have to sit in a run of the mill garage until we move!

That really looks good!

OCD trigger: hopefully you have some white paint left over to touch up the soffit above the Tesla logo. :)

Any reason to get away from the cold is a good one;)

Looks nice! I just painted my side of the garage wall but don't have the Tesla logo or Tesla 'T' on the wall yet.

Where did you get your lettering? I was going to go with a stencil from 1-800 stencils but not sure.

I used a logo image from Tesla's website and had it blown up at a print shop into a 4 foot banner. Using it as a template we cut out the Tesla letters and logo from sanded 3/4" plywood. The letters and logo have 1/2" dowel rods drilled and mounted on the back. We drilled into the drywall to mount the dowel rods. This creates a floating look for the letters. Last picture really shows the floating effect.

Paint code for the actual tesla red color is Benjamin Moore 2087-10 (Neon Red). Letters are gloss white.

So far I have mounted the word Tesla. Not sure if I will mount the logo but would probably put it above the letters if I do.

Electric box is my 100 amp subpanel feeding my hpwc.
