MYLR paint chip on front facia on delivery (2/12/2022)

I pointed out a small chip on the front facia and I thought the SC would simply touch it up. However, after I scheduled the service they updated my ticket and said the parts were in. When I questioned them about parts, they said they are replacing the entire front facia. So here's my question, would you have any concerns about having the Rockville MD SC replace the front facia for a minor ding, or I am likely to experience problems from the work. I'm concerned about taking such a drastic step for a minor ding. Am I wrong? I asked the SC to just send me a paint touch-up kit and we'd call it done, but no, they insist they'd be replacing the facia. What do you think? Thanks!

That’s a substantial chip, and a new bumper is a plug and play item. I’d absolutely not settle for a paint touch up kit (which I’ve used before).

The bumper is a simple replacement. I had mine swapped out when my PPF installer had an employee back into my car while it was there. I was in and out of the service center in like 30-45 min.
