Got a text that my VIN is assigned! (VIN 7SAY...F460) New EDD is June 12-18. My SA thinks it was canceled VIN, since the car is not in California, and already almost to New Mexico (I'm in Texas). But he said it's same configuration I ordered from the start (w/all weather tires).

I was told delivery day has to be scheduled to get the MVPA in the system. Go ahead and ask them for it, it may prompt them to schedule delivery day.

Gave them name of credit union and amount to finance, and the MVPA and title docs showed up on the website. Need to finalize loan at CU on Monday. Already have my nephew ready to drive me to the SA on Friday. Appointment for stealth wrap and window tint three weeks later. It’s happening!

Good call on the Stealth wrap. I’ll be doing the same thing and will schedule once I get a pick up date. Looks so good on the MSM.

Is it really true that the Ryzen or heated wiper is only available on some cars? How do you determine if you have it based on the VIN number?

Somebody here can correct me if I’m wrong, but I haven’t seen any cars not have AMD, heated wipers, and double pane front door windows for quite a while. The only variant now should be tires. Michelin AS or Pirelli Summer tires.

Pretty much any tesla built after march 2022 is gonna have it. They started appearing late last year nov/dec and I’m sure all the intel atom supply is depleted now. Heated wipers have been available for way longer

Tires have been region specific, however, it’s still hit or miss. There are no guarantees on tires. Tesla will put whatever they want on the car to get you to drive off their lot.

Don’t let them evaluate your car for a trade until after you get your VIN! I got pushed to a new 5 week window and an entire month out before it starts. Checked another thread and someone in my area with the same EDDs and close to my order date got a VIN on 6/11. Coincidence maybe, but really odd.

Well, I am crushed. Just entered the 10 day window and got pushed to a larger than a month window, more than a month and a half from now....

I second that recommendation! In April, I was in my first 2 week window, got the trade-in call, and started the trade-in evaluation. Before Tesla had finished the evaluation, the EDD changed to a 12 day window, then I declined the trade in offer (CarMax gave me $2,300 more on my ‘14 Leaf). EDD narrowed to 10 days, then started a series of 4-5 week windows until getting my VIN yesterday. An additional 2 months! Can’t be certain that the trade-in skunked the deal in April, but it looked that way to me.
