MyQ garage door with Eve for Tesla app

Hi! I have searched past posts about Eve for Tesla for integration with MyQ garage door openers and wanted to know if anyone has used it recently. It looks like they came out with a version 2 and have picked up doing updates on it. Is anyone using this currently? And does anyone know if the app is still abandoned or if they began updating it again? I don't want to buy Homelink, opening my phone to open and close the garage is annoying and using the actual opener seems counterproductive when the entire car is run off 1 screen. I would love for Eve to work. I know it's a subscription but it's on $50 for the year.

I have a Siri shortcut to open the garage door. Just go hey Siri and say "Run open the garage" and it opens. I use my garage door opener through Alarm.com
Same thing only say close to close the door

I find the clicker works every time since replacing the door opener with a recent model that copes with the Tesla's RFI. I can click it while looking at the door and the road rather than the screen or the clicker.

It's too bad the Homelink kit is so pricey as it does work well. I like that it auto opens and closes the door for me every day so worth it for me but I can understand why others may not want to pay the premium.

I already had ben using Alarm.com for security so this was just an addition
