Thanks for the updates! We have relatives in nearby Zavalla, TX and this new station will help me convince my wife to ditch gas cars completely and get a Model 3.

Another week has passed. Any news from Nacogdoches? Heading that way in two weeks. This would cut a lot of miles off our trip.

Construction guys tell me yesterday (Wednesday) that power has been added to the site and it awaits commissioning by Tesla. I'll check on it again next week.

@Missile Toad Thanks a ton !!! This will be our first long distance trip, St Louis to Houston. Not stressing too much but will be glad to have it under my belt.

To be clear @dwploc, the construction guys said that their electrical systems were ready. What seems remaining to do, is for Tesla Corp., itself, to turn the 'on switch' -- AKA the commissioning. I'll be passing through on Tuesday and update then.

According to the Tesla site, this SuperCharger went live weekend of 9/23. Woohoo !!! I'll be using it next week STL -> Atascocita.

Up and running. We took a drive around the big loop stopping there today. interesting enough it did not show up on the Tesla Nav today. Not concerned since I checked in here to ensure they were working. What an awesome spot. Denny's is always good. The service station offered clean restrooms and fried pies. it's so funny to be right at a big truck stop. BTW, taking the exit going North, don't pull in where the trucks are thinking you can get to the SC. Nope. Go up to the crossing road, then make your right into the place and you will see them on the right.
