Would be nice, but streaming from my phone works fine.

Streaming from the phone works, but it would with Spotify, Apple Music, etc. also. It's just not a great experience that way. Given the browser is already there and you just need to make Pocket Casts Web work, I think a lot of time and development effort would be saved using progressive web apps instead of making custom apps just for Teslas.

The Spotify podcasts seems to work good now for me.
