nav map not updating?

anyone experiencing a similar issue where the nav map doesn’t refresh with current location? i've noticed this a few times now where the map just becomes a blank tan color. cell coverage shows 2-3 bars and am on 2018.26.3. after shutting down the car and driving again later, the map restores. i’m guessing it’s a software issue but sorta strange.

It happened to me once - lost gps and also backup camera (related, how?), even though it said I was getting signal. Worked fine again after stopping and starting.

I'm away but wifey says that for the last few days the nav screen has lost satellite mapping and only the basic mapping is there. An update loaded, possibly ly via the wifi connection in the garage. Looks like 3G not connecting but can't check it out myself until I get home. She tried a hard reboot with no change. Anyone else experienced this? Will call Tesla when I get home.

Anyone having a problem with the Super Chargers not displaying when zoomed out?

Now you see them, now you don't. (Super Chargers that is)

The other day we were showing friends the location of superchargers on the nav screen and they were not showing. I later found that they were showing on the screen if you zoomed in some. As you see from the picture, you zoom in far enough and there they are. If you zoom out a tad, they go away...

Good point, sduck, just checked and you're right, she's got the satellite view back. But apparently the traffic is not showing either. I'll have to check the manual to see if that can be turned on and off.

There is, just below the globe icon, is the traffic light. cycle that icon to see the color lines on the map noting traffic.

Found the traffic light symbol in the manual. Have set message to SWMBO, awaiting developments. Thanks for your suggestions.

Ive found the traffic info to be incorrect.

It works pretty good in the NE… only issue I’ve experienced is that it does t do a good job rerouting around the traffic it shows.
