I recently came back from a trip where I had some bad planning (saved money on a hotel, but way too long a drive from where I needed to be on a few days and one broken CHAdeMO that was pretty painful to work around). My wife wasn't even on the trip, but when she heard about it, she was basically turned off from ever wanting to travel in the Tesla again. I said that I had learned a slightly different lesson--that Tesla's infrastructure was great and reliable, but I could not count on public chargers.Ah, yes. The DHF* cannot be overstated during the planning and execution stages of any proper road trip.
