Nav question: what does the dashed traffic color indicate?

I've searched for this and haven't found an answer. The new Nav traffic has both solid and dashed yellow and red lines for traffic. What's the difference between dashed and solid? (I'm on firmware 5.6) Is this documented somewhere?

I'm not aware of somewhere it's documented, but seeing as it's google-sourced I took a look at their legend.
